Jack Terry Lee, Jr.

August 4, 1941 — February 7, 2024

Jack Terry Lee Jr, 82, was born in Beaumont, Texas, to the late Jack Terry Lee Sr and Mary Lee Andrus, on August 4th, 1941.  Jack grew up in Beaumont and graduated from Hebert High School in 1959. He joined the Army where he served faithfully until he was honorably discharged in 1968. After working for Zumo’s Meat Company for a short time, he then began to work at Mobil Oil where he retired after 23 years of service. After retirement, Jack and his family moved to Round Rock, Texas in 2005. His last place of residence was in Taylor, Texas where he enjoyed living a county lifestyle. Jack was a spectacular sports player. Any sport he played, he dominated at it. Some may even say he was better than Michael Jordan at basketball. He was a diehard Steelers and Celtics fan, and nobody had better had a differing opinion on that, because he could argue for days in defense of his teams.

Jack gave his life to the Lord in 1983 and mistered the word of God to everyone he encountered; at grocery stores, in parking lots, wherever he went, he ministered. He not only represented the Lord by mouth, but also by the clothes he wore. There is not one shirt that he owned that he did not iron on scriptures to it. He also began to make Christian posters and passed them out to different people he would meet. To those who knew him best, he will be greatly missed.

Jack leaves behind to cherish the memories of his life: his beloved wife of 40 years, Delores Holmes Lee; seven children, Geno Lee, Kintezy (Judy) Lee, Terri Lee-McMillan, Jamie Lee, Kesha Lee (all of Beaumont, TX), Jack Terry Lee III (of Round Rock, TX), and Jacqueline Lee (of Taylor, Tx); niece, Veronica (Punkin) Holmes who he helped to raise with his wife, Delores, along with her two children, Anthony McClellan, and Alysa Eddie; three brothers, whereas one proceeded him in death, GJ (Peggy) Lee, Robert Andrus, and John Kieth Andrus (deceased); nine grandchildren, Jeremy Lee, Deshone Lee, Jobi Denson, Millyons McMillan, Majesti Lee, Kinteza Lee, Korey Williams, Dareion Nixon, and Jayden Lee; and one great-grandchild.
