Yolanda Maria Sanchez

Family and friends, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother Yolanda Maria Reyes, 64 of Taylor Texas. Yolanda was born on July 28, 1954 and was called by our Heavenly Father on November 3 ^rd , 2018.

Yolanda had many wonderful qualities she was able to display to her friends and family. Her infectious smile and sense of humor made those around her happy. Her contagious smile made others comfortable, a quality she displayed until the very end. Her faith was incredibly strong. She battled Cancer and fought it to the very end. Yolanda loved to cook for everyone and always had the tortillas ready for her children and grandchildren. She cared deeply about her family and friends. Yolanda was a selfless and a loving person who sacrificed most of her wants and needs for the wants and needs of others. God has gained an angel. One that will look after her many family and friends and that undoubtedly will continue to make us laugh. Mama, we love you very much and one day we will see you again.

Yolanda is preceded in death by her parents, Pantaleón and Paulita Reyes. Also, her brothers Joe and Robert Reyes. She is survived by her children Cindy Olguin, Betty Olguin-Vasquez and husband Chris Vasquez, Stephanie Olguin and Jonathan Gonzales and his fiancé Stephanie. Nine grandchildren; Christopher and Brianna Herrera, Samantha Rives and Joshua Vasquez, Samuel Reyna, Michael Mason Jr and Zyllah Mason, Gabriela and Elizabeth Gonzales, two great-grandchildren Keuss and Kyree Rives. Siblings Raymond Reyes and wife Yolanda, Maria Medina, Manuel Reyes Sr. and wife Marcelina, Pedro Reyes and wife Leticia, Hortencia Leyendecker, Dora Reyes and husband Max, Richard Reyes and many other nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are as follow; Jimmy Reyes, Steven Reyes, Manuel Reyes Jr., Joshua Vasquez, Christopher Herrera and Michael Mason Jr.

Visitation will be from 5 pm to 7 pm prior to the Rosary on Thursday November 8 ^th , 2018 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas at 7pm. Funeral will be held Friday November 9 ^th , 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 11:00am, Father Keith Koehl is officating.
