Virginia Mae (Vitek) Hall, 75, of Georgetown, Texas returned home to her Heavenly Father on November 20 th , 2021. She passed away peacefully at Baylor Scott and White Hospital with her loving daughters by her side.
Virginia was born in Taylor, Texas, on April 27, 1946 to Ed and Emillie (Millie) Gaida-Vitek. She graduated from Granger High School in Granger, Texas in 1964. She then went onto Temple College (TC) in Temple, Texas pursuing a business degree. Later in life, Virginia went to Austin Community College (ACC) for Real Estate.
Virginia met the love of her life Dale Hall. Dale and Virginia were married on June 13, 1968. At that time, Virginia was working for the State of Texas until her first-born child Rochelle was born. At that time, Virginia stepped up into the role of a glorified mother and homemaker. Then, shortly came Christi, Stephanie, and Leslie. While being CEO of the Hall Girls, Virginia was joint CEO of Hall Electric Co. and supported Dale in the farming and cattle operation. She loved her family tremendously and enjoyed the neighborhood crew and volunteering as Head of the PTA for the school. Virginia was proud of all her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. Actually, the kids could do no wrong in her eyes she loved whole-heartedly and unconditionally. She was proud and devoted to her family. Together Dale and Virginia raised strong wonderful girls. Virginia loved the holidays, friends, and family. Virginia was known for her kind, loving free spirit. She was best known to her friends and family as “Tootsie.” Her smile, blue eyes and advantageous personality could light up the room.
In 1985, Virginia went on to pursue a career at Baylor Scott and White Hospital and retired in October of 2010. While she was employed with Scott and White for 27 years, she served the role as a Financial Counselor, then moved to Ophthalmology and then ended her career working with the Doctors in the Specialty Department.
Later in life, Virginia married Domingo Rendon. Together they enjoyed traveling and living life.
Virginia was a breast cancer survivor of 20 years.
Virginia was a long time member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Taylor, Texas. Over the years, Virginia served in several capacities with the church. She loved people and loved to volunteer. She was a greeter at mass and loved seeing everyone. She was an active member of the St. Anne’s Alter Society and a member of the Catholic Daughters Association. She was EIM certified and loved to volunteer for St. Mary’s Catholic School pre Covid. Virginia enjoyed delivering Meals on Wheels to the homebound individuals and enjoyed being on the Buddy Walk for Down syndrome association of Central Texas (DSACT) for 15 years where she helped fundraise and was part of the baking committee for a few of those years. She loved being part of team Rustin also known as Rustin’s Rebels.
She loved attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren events such as; band, horse shows, football, baseball games and a variety of Special Olympics sports and activities. She was a busy grandma. She loved to travel with her family. From Hawaii, California, Cabo, Las Vegas, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, New Mexico and Wyoming just to name a few. She loved the beach and making memories with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We cherish the memories we made with fun and laughter. Virginia was free spirited, loved life and lived it to the fullest. She will be deeply missed. She loved Elvis.
She grew up in Granger Texas. She was a twirler for her school. She grew up with three brothers who adored her. Her hobbies included sewing, baking, cooking, volunteering, and family. Virginia lived a very active life and was everywhere for everybody.
She loved to watch the games with her social delights at the local club where they had many great laughs and friendships. She was a true Longhorn and Dallas Cowboy Fan for Life even though part of her family is Aggies. (Gig’em).
She is survived by her daughters, Dr. Rochelle Hall-Schwarz and husband James of Georgetown, Texas, Christi Lane and husband Troy of Hutto, Texas, Stephanie Hall and husband Cruz Lopez of Taylor, Texas and Leslie Martinez and husband Gilbert of Taylor, Texas. Her grandchildren are Brittney Schwarz, Jeremy Selucky, Gabriella (Bella) Schwarz, Clarrissa Carrillo, Alyssa Martinez, Amber Martinez, Rustin Lane, and Xander Lopez,
Great-Grandchildren Tayden Selucky, Chastin and Brentley Hernandez, Zakariah Hall, Lincoln Brockeveldt, and Jackson Griffith.
Visitation/Rosary services for Virginia Hall will be held from 5:00-7:00 on Sunday, November the 28 th at Providence Funeral Home and Funeral Mass held on Monday, November 29th at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Taylor, Texas. Followed by internment at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you donate to St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in her memory or to your favorite animal rescue facility.
Pallbearers are Troy Lane, Cruz Lopez, Gilbert Martinez, James Schwarz, Jeffrey Stork, Keith Hernandez, Nicholas Brockeveldt, and Sam Manduffie.
Honorary Pallbearers are Jeremy Selucky, Xander Lopez, Rustin Lane, Zakariah Hall, Tayden Selucky, Chastin and Brentley Hernandez, Jackson Griffith and Lincoln Brockeveldt.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ed R. Vitek, Jr, Robert Vitek, and Virgil Vitek. Special Aunt and Uncle Janie and Joe Prcin of Granger, Texas
