Victor Raymond Machalicek

Victor Raymond Machalicek, son of Ligie and Albina Vybiral Machalicek, was born on September 11, 1930 in Bartlett, TX and passed away after a short illness peacefully on September 4, 2018 at his home in Round Rock, TX.  He is survived by his 4 children, Roni Arias and husband Bryan, Kim Harmon, Scott and wife Jennifer, and Joel and wife Phillipa, 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister Helen Wells and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Ladella and husband Lester Caffey.

After serving in the National Guard, he went on to an esteemed 38-year career beginning with Western Electric as an Installer, and after a merger with AT&T, retired as a Supervisor.  Victor enjoyed spending time with his family, volunteering with several church activities and festivals, fishing, gardening, cooking and being the “bbq” king of Brushy Bend Park.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, TX on Friday, September 7, 2018 with rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.  A Mass of Christian celebration of life will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylor, TX on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 10:00 am.
