Tricia Lathan Sheppard

Tricia Lathan Sheppard, 55, of Taylor, Texas, passed away Friday, June 8 ^th , 2018. She was born February 4 ^th , 1963, in Terrell, Texas.

Tricia loved nature and enjoyed being outside at her home in Taylor with her loving husband, Jimmie. She was an amazing mother and very proud of her daughter, Jill. She loved chatting with her step-son, Jimmie, and daughter-in-law, Jennifer; and she adored her grandchildren, Breanna and Braxton. Her faith, love from immediate and extended family, and long-time friendships were her rocks throughout her journey and the people in her life brought her joy and peace.

Tricia is preceded in death by her parents, Jeanette and Alvin Randig, Jr.; her biological father, Carl Lathan, Jr.; her brother, Brian Lathan; and her son, Jesse Keith Graybill. She is also preceded by grandparents, Adolph and Minnie Artieschoufsky, Ida and Alvin Randig, Sr., Edna Mueller, and Carl Lathan, Sr.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Sheppard; daughter, Jill Graybill; step-son, Jimmie Sheppard II and wife, Jennifer; and grandchildren, Breanna Sheppard and Braxton Sheppard. She is also survived by her brother, Kevin Randig and wife, Claris; nephew, Bodie Randig and niece, Krista Randig; aunts and uncles: Margie Artieschoufsky, Dennis and Martha Artieschoufsky, Donny and Susie Artieschoufsky, Louis and Betty Domel, Irene Conn, and Doris Nord, and numerous cousins who she loved dearly.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, June 15 ^th , 2018, at Providence Funeral Home, 807 Carlos Parker Blvd, Taylor. Church service to be held at 10:00am on Saturday, June 16 ^th , 2018, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 411 CR 401, Taylor, with Pastor Stan Simonik officiating.

The family greatly appreciates and wishes to acknowledge the efforts of Dr. Meaghan Khan, Dr. Courtney Sheinbein, and the wonderful nurses at Baylor Scott & White.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Pallbearers are Greg Artieschoufsky, Thomas Conn, Dale Delong, John Dittman, Travis Johnston, Gary Klaus, John Malone, Jr., Craig Stenholm, and Josh Wuthrich.
