Tomasa Yannis

Tomasa Yannis, 67, of Taylor, passed away Thursday, July 7th 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Tomasa was born on March 7th 1955 in Taylor, TX to Jovita Flores and Santos Yannis. She grew up with three sisters and one brother, Bessie Yannis, Guadalupe Yannis, Susie Martinez and Jimmy Yannis.

Tomasa’s joy came from her family. She had three boys, Joel, Gabe, & Juan Carlos, and three girls, Trisha, Gracy, & Duvelsa. She also loved to spend time with her 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Tomasa was known by her friends as “Tommy” and also known for being a hard working women. She enjoyed helping people and could always put a smile on your face. She always put her family first and loved to spend time with her family cooking, listening to music, and reminiscing on the past.

Tomasa is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Guadalupe Yannis, and Susie Martinez. Tomasa’s smile and loving heart will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
