Thomas H. Stiba

Thomas H. Stiba passed away on November 6, 2020.  He was 89 years old.  He is survived by his wife, Frances Stiba.  They were married for 59 years.  His children are Janis Alexander Jansky and husband Johnnie, Patty Alexander Heiman and husband Gene, Doug Alexander and Thomas Stiba III.  He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, his brother, James Stiba and wife, Mary, and 3 nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Nannie and Tom Stiba, and brother, Robert (Bobby) Stiba.

Tom grew up in Rice’s Crossing, graduated from Taylor High School in 1949 and then served in the Army.  Upon returning home from the Army he worked at the cotton gin and then was employed by Alcoa until he retired.  The Cowboys, Astros, Spurs and lottery scratchers were his favorite pastimes. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 10 ^th , at a private family ceremony.
