Thomas "Tbone" Martinez

It is with great sadness we announce that on Wednesday October 21, 2020 our beloved Thomas “Tommy “or “T-Bone” Martinez, 56, went to be with his Heavenly Father.

Tommy was born on March 6, 1964 in Taylor TX to Nicole “Nico” Martinez & Ralph “Rabbit” Martinez and remained a lifelong resident of Taylor TX with his wife Christine “Tina” Martinez.

He spent his life as a hardworking, dedicated, faithful & loving husband, dad, son, grandpa, uncle, brother, neighbor & friend. Tommy loved being around family & friends & never met a stranger. He spent his days thanking the Lord & letting everyone know how good God is with his contagious smile. Tommy was the baby of his family but was the member that held the family together through the toughest of times and whom some of the best memories were made with. While most of his nieces and nephews referred to him as "T" or "Uncle" he played more of the role as a father figure to them. Tommy will be forever remembered for his beautiful smile, caring heart & unconditional love. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is in heaven watching over us.

Tommy is preceded in visiting Heaven by his father, sister Christina Frias & other precious family members.

He is survived by his mother, wife, sons Jonathan T. Martinez, Tim Martinez and Mike Logan, granddaughter Tatyana & other grandchildren, sisters Patricia Martinez, Irene Dubec, Hope Perez & brothers Ricky Martinez, Ralph Martinez & by his many nieces, nephews, cousins extended family & many good friends.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 28, 2020 from 6-8 pm at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday October 29, 2020 at the Funeral Home.
