Stan Trimm

Stanley Paul Trimm, 68, of Georgetown, Texas went to be with his Lord & Savior on January 29, surrounded by his family, following a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born to parents Comer Alfred and Mary Hampton Trimm on January 10, 1954, in Houston, Texas. Stan grew up in Houston and graduated from Spring Woods High School.  After high school he utilized his many talents to pursue various careers, making many lifelong friendships along the way.  In recent years, Stan put his focus on his true passion of singing, entertaining, and his love of music.  He was known to many as “Stan the Man” or “Stan the Singing Santa”. His even greater talent was the way he connected with people and the kindness he showed to others.

Stan is preceded in death by both of his parents. Stan is survived by his siblings: Steve and wife Patti; Scott and wife Lisa; Marla and partner Brenda. Five children: Joshua and wife Kim; Jacob and wife Amanda; Bekah and partner Randal; Cassie and partner Cody; and Micah. Grandchildren: Nathan; Jensen, Lila, and Kennedy. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many friends and loved ones.

The Trimm family would like to thank Georgetown Senior Living and all the Staff for the care and kindness shown to Stan over the last four months.

They also wish to extend their gratitude to Natalie RN, Brittany, Pastor Bob and all the staff at Trinity Hospice for the care, love and support shown to Stan and our family through this journey.

The memorial service will be held on Monday, February 7th at 11 am at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas and viewing will take place from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., prior to the service.
