Sharon Denise Shadle Turner, 82 of Round Rock, Texas went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 while surrounded by her family.
Sharon was born on January 20, 1943 in North Carolina. She was raised by her grandparents Fannie and Herman Gattis in Jonah, Texas. Sharon graduated from Georgetown Highschool in 1961 and shortly after married Jim Turner. From there they began raising their 3 children. She spent her early years dedicated to raising her children and later became the proud owner of Braker Lane Daycare where she loved and cared for children for nearly a decade. She then followed a career working for ARC until she retired in 2012.
To know Sharon was to know her heart and passion for her family and her friends, and really anyone who was in need of just about anything. However, Sharon’s true calling and gift was poured out to overflowing into her children and grandchildren. She lived and breathed every ounce of herself into making sure her babies were taken care of, loved, cherished and adored. In between adoring and loving her family, she held a profound gift of being able to see the beauty of God’s creation and transforming it into breathtaking paintings. Along with painting, Sharon loved to reminisce and recreate the many memories she made with her family by putting together scrapbooks for her children and grandchildren. Sharon also spent her time volunteering in the local hospitals and churches, giving of herself in whatever way possible. She truly was the hands and feet of Jesus.
Sharon was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Fannie Gattis and Grandfather Herman Gattis.
Sharon was survived by her sister Catana; cousins, Randy, David, Steven; children, Kim, Greg and wife Kristi, Cherie and husband Rob; 9 grandchildren, Travis and wife Jenny, Kelli, Dusty and wife Ashley, Troy, Laci and husband Justin, Kory, Cody and wife Amy, Garrett, Mason and wife Becca, and 14 great grandchildren, Chase, Caylie, Brynlee, Ryden, Remi, Aleigha, Paisley, Lane, Layla, Kennedy, Karter, Cash, Colt, Leia.
