Ruth Clark

Viola Ruth (Braun) Clark, 87, of Thrall passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022.

Ruth was born on February 19, 1935 in Walburg to August and Norma (Schier) Braun. She grew up with two older sisters.

She married the love of her life, Charles Raymond Clark, on April 4, 1954. To this marriage they received a blessing of one child. Ruth was a stay-at-home homemaker who loved flowers and vegetable gardening.

Ruth is predeceased by her parents, August and Norma Braun; her husband of 65 years, Ray Clark; and one sister, Ethel Bielss.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Deborah Clark; a sister, Arline Marak; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor. Service of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Walburg, Texas. She will then be laid to rest at the church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Larry Bielss, Eugene Marak, Kenneth Marak, Richard Heckman, Jr., Kyle Heckman, and Kenneth Kisamore.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery Fund, or to the charity of your choice.
