Ross Emory Stromberg, 74, passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2018, one day before his 75 th birthday.
Ross was born in Taylor, Texas to Hildur (Olson) and Emory Samuel Stromberg. He graduated Hutto High School in 1961 and completed TCU Ranch Management class in 1963.
Ross worked in the family dairy business 1963-1975 at which time he started farming on his own. He loved the land and took much pride in his crops. He loved farming and continued to farm until the time of his death. He was a member ofe Hutto Lutheran Church where generations of his family had been members.
Ross served and was active on many different boards and organizations. Ross’s love of farming led to his collection of toy tractors. He loved being with family and his many weekends spent in Louisiana. Louisiana had the beautiful drives, interesting people, and places that he came to enjoy so much.
This wonderful man, farmer, family man, husband, father, grandfather will be deeply missed by those left behind to carry on his legacy.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery.
