Rosie Mary (Hajda) Naizer, 97, went to be with her Lord on September 2, 2020. She was born on December 7, 1922, to Frank and Annie (Nemec) Hajda in Granger, Texas. She married Joe Naizer on January 7, 1946.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Naizer, parents Frank and Annie Hajda, grandson Daniel Norman, son-in-law Johnnie Kortis, brothers Tim Hajda, Frankie Hajda and Rudy Hajda, and sister Ann Mikulencak. She is survived by her children Marie Kortis, Joe Naizer and wife Mary Ellen, Ron Naizer and wife Linda, Joyce Norman, Dorothy Wright and husband James, Eileen Cmerek and husband Larry, Tim Naizer and wife Carrie, Gilbert Naizer and wife Tammy, 23 grandchildren and their spouses, 30 great grandchildren, sister Lillian Naizer and brother Albert Hajda, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was also a great cook. Her family particularly enjoyed her cinnamon rolls, her kolaches, and chicken and dumplings. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, playing dominoes, bingo, scrabble and listening to polka music. Because of her deep faith, she also spent much time praying the rosary and watching EWTN. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and was a babysitter in her own home for 13 years. Each of the children she babysat were very special to her.
Her grandchildren will honor her by serving as pallbearers.
Open Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, beginning at 4:00 p.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Taylor, Texas. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Taylor, Texas.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, space will be limited at the service.
Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Granger.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the SPJST Assisted Living facility for their loving care of their mother during the 9 years she called it home.
