Rosemary C. Gonzales

Rosemary (Rosie) Gonzales, 65 years old, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 8, 2025.

Rosemary was born on December 19th, 1959 in Plainview, Texas to Juanita Capetillo and Margarito Capetillo. She grew up in West Texas and moved to Bartlett, TX with her brothers and sisters, Santos, Maggie, Gabriel, Cruz, Ysabel, Delia, Guadalupe, and Robert.

Rosie worked at Cisco Systems as an Engineer Technician. For many years, her hobbies included cooking, tending to her garden, spending time with her family, playing Bingo, garage sale shopping, picking pecans, and, above all, staying busy. Rosie never hesitated to share her home to others who needed it; her door was always open.

Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, Juanita and Margarito Capetillo, and by her son Daniel Gonzales.

Rosie is survived by her husband, Genaro Gonzales Sr., children, Genaro Gonzales Jr. (Monique), Christopher Gonzales (Monica), Maria Rodriguez (Danny), and Matthew Gonzales (Christie), her grandchildren Zachary, Emily, Jaylynn, Aleeza, C.J., Lyla, Daniel II, Isaiah, Eric, Nathan, Braxton, Mattie, and Danica, and her great grandchildren Mason and August.

Pallbearers will be Gabriel Capetillo Jr., Phillip Solis, Isaiah Pachicano, Zachary Gonzales, Eric Dunkle, and C.J. Gonzales.

Honorary pallbearers are Nathan Gonzales, Braxton Gonzales, Daniel Gonzales II, and Mason Gonzales.

Viewing for Rosie will be held at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor from 5-8 p.m on Thursday, March 13th, with Rosary beginning at 7. Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 14th at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger. Burial services will follow at Bartlett City Cemetery
