Ronald Lynn Wheless

February 21, 1955 — February 27, 2018

Ron Wheless, 63, was called home to Heaven on February 27, 2018.  He was born in Austin, Texas on February 21, 1955 to Billy James “Pete” and Helen Winette Wheless.  He was raised in Austin, Texas and graduated from Lanier High School.

Ronnie married the love of his life, Judy, on April 7, 1979 and they had two children, Angela and Alan.  They shared a life of love and devotion that is an inspiration to all who know them.

He worked in the construction business as a brick mason.  He was partner in C. W. Masonry, founder of Wheless Masonry, Inc. and General Superintendent for Brazos Masonry, Inc.  His love for the family ranch led him to restore the fields and grow the herd adding to his life accomplishments.  He was a volunteer Softball Coach for his daughter’s teams at Balcones Little League and worked as an NRA certified shotgun instructor with his son for the Travis County 4H Shooting Sports.

Ronnie was a wonderful husband, father, “BawBaw” and friend.  He taught us about life, love, faith, and generosity.  He dedicated his life to the Lord and was baptized at Crestview Baptist Church in Austin.  He most recently was a member of First Shiloh Baptist Church.  He enjoyed working with his cows, hunting, fishing, boating, and spending time with loved ones.  He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his father, Pete Wheless.  He is survived by his wife, Judy Wheless; mother, Winette Wheless; daughter, Angie Loiselle and husband Thomas; son, Alan Wheless and wife Lauren; granddaughters, Ava and Tayler Loiselle; brother, James Wheless and wife Vicki; sister, Sharon Naber and husband Brian; and many nieces and nephews.

We love you!  May God wrap His arms around you, surrounding you with overwhelming love and peace as He welcomes you home.  We will miss you more than we can express.
