Rita Zimmerhanzel Huser

Rita Zimmerhanzel Huser (AKA “Rita Baby”), 74 of Taylor passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024.

Rita was born on Dec. 16, 1949 to Charlie and Angel Zimmerhanzel. She graduated from Taylor High School in 1968.

In 1992, she married Joe Huser.

The highlight of her working career was as a teller & banking officer at City National Bank. She would always say “I had the most wonderful customers”.

Rita is preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Angel Zimmerhanzel and her son Brian Roepke.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Joe Huser, a son Patrick Roepke, a sister Madelene Z. Buzan, a daughter April H. Brown, granddaughters, Lauren (Shelton) Holmes, Karsen (Brendan) Brown, Ayden John, a niece Sholley Buzan Webster and nephew Tyler Buzan. In July of this year she was blessed with two precious great grandbabies.

Per Rita’s wishes, there will be no service. A registration book is available at Providence Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Samaritan’s Purse, or the ASPCA.
