Richard "Rc" Caulk

Mr. Richard “RC” Caulk, of Thorndale, TX, passed away, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 after a short battle with lung cancer. Richard was 74 years old.

Richard was born to Hazel Caulk on September 10, 1943 in Hillsboro, Mississippi. He was married to Karen Kwon on August 22, 1987 in Colton, California. Richard served in the United States Air Force as a military police officer from 1962 to 1966. He lived the last 30 years in San Bernardino, California, having moved to Texas in the last month.

Richard is preceded in death by his mother Hazel Vickery and his wife Karen Caulk.

Richard is survived by his brother Jim Caulk of Florida, his sisters Sherrie Adams of California and Beckie Childs of Kentucky; his son’s family, Michael and Danielle Beardsley and their children, Ryan, Jacob and Lillee of Thorndale, TX; his son, Larry Frey and his children, Vanessa, Lawrence and Cheyenne of Albuquerque, NM; his daughter, Diana Watson and her children, Karen, Carmen, and Megan of Las Vegas, NV; his son, Clinton Beardsley III of California and his children Vanessa and Patricia of Idaho. Richard is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.

No memorial services will be held at the deceased’s request. The scattering of ashes will be privately conducted at a future date.  The family is grateful for your condolences and in lieu of flowers, the family would request donations to Veteran’s Affairs in honor of “RC”.
