Raymond Castillo, 57, of Pflugerville, Texas, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024. Raymond was born, Remigio Ruben Castillo on December 1, 1966 in Wyoming, to the late Rosalinda and Frank Castillo Sr.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Rosalinda and Frank Castillo Sr.; brothers, Albert and Cruz Castillo; and son, Matthew Castillo.
Raymond is survived by his son Remigio “Mick” Castillo II, wife Shayna, and their children, Tre and Victoria; son, J.B Castillo, wife Marissa and their children, Penelope and Amelia; daughter, Andrea Gomez and family; the mother of his children, Theresa Castillo; sisters, Cynthia and husband Juan Silva; Amanda Castillo; brothers, Frank, Damian and James Castillo; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also leaving behind his significant other Sabrina Ramirez and family.
Raymond lived in Granger for most of his life and graduated from Granger High School. Early in life, Raymond learned the importance of hard work and he instilled that same work ethic into his children. He worked at Teco Westinghouse for 27 years. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, fishing, being with family and friends, and making people laugh. He will be remembered for his contagious smile, big heart, and his many sayings. Raymond was a strong, kind, loving, hard working, supportive father, brother, grandfather and friend.
Our hearts hurt desperately now, thinking of continuing life without Raymond. We will cherish the wonderful memories he left us with and he will live on forever in our hearts. Rest in peace Raymond. We love you!
