Raymond A. Raesz

Raymond A. Raesz age 84, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021.

Raymond was born to Willie & Hattie (Lantzch) Raesz on March 15, 1936 in Taylor, Texas.

He served in the Navy with an honorable discharge in December 1959 and married Helen J. Filla January 28, 1961. They were happily married for 53 years. Raymond also Retired from the US Post Office in 2001 after 39 years of service.

Raymond is preceded in death by parents, wife Helen, sisters Jeanette (Carter), Margaret (Borchardt) & Vera (Anderson); brothersWillie Jr, Edmond, Harvey, Reuben, Robert; brother in laws Antone Pavel, Carl Borchardt & Joe Anderson; sister in law Hazel Raesz, and survived by son Elton (Barbara) Raesz (Cedar Park); daughters Karen Raesz (Georgetown) and Cynthia (Sean) Lofgren (Lewisville); grandsons Jason (Danielle) Raesz (Temple), Matthew (Hallie) Raesz (Leander), Wells & Brody Lofgren (Lewisville); granddaughters Stephanie (Stephen) Flores (San Antonio) and Sadie Brown (Georgetown); Great Grandchildren Kaylie & Adalyn Raesz, Ryder & Ranger Raesz; brother in lawsRobert Carter (Elgin), Leroy Filla, Dan (Helen) Filla (Taylor) & Milton (Debbie) Filla (Granger); sister in laws Irene Pavel (Granger), Elizabeth Raesz (Taylor), Barbara Raesz (Taylor), Frances Raesz (Round Rock) and Sandra Raesz (Dallas).Multiple nieces and nephews.
