Ray M Sanchez

Ray M. Sanchez 79 of Taylor, Texas died August 23, 2017 with his daughter by his side.

The rosary will be recited at 1:00pm Monday, August 28, 2017 with the Celebration of Life following at 2pm at Providence Funeral Home.

Ray was born in Taylor, Texas to Juan and Mary Sanchez on January 6, 1938. Ray was a very hard worker who worked the cotton fields and at the gin until he retired.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Mary Sanchez, his sister Catalina Sanchez and brother Mariano Sanchez.

He is survived by his only child, daughter Rosemary Sanchez of Taylor. His two grandsons, Adam Sanchez Sr. and his wife Melissa and Jacob Ochoa all of Taylor. His granddaughter Lisa Meza (Sanchez) and husband Eric of Chicago, Illoinois. Eight great grandchildren: Darius Reyes, Ariana Sanchez, AJ Sanchez, Addisyn Sanchez and Jacob Ochoa Jr. all of Taylor and Elijah Meza, Alexia Meza and Nayeli Meza all of Chicago Illinois. Two sisters, Nico Martinez and Helen Olivares and one brother, Eufemio Sanchez all of Taylor and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ray will be remembered for his sense of humor and generosity.

He will be greatly missed. Rosemary would like to thank her aunts, Helen and Nico and other family members for all their help with caring for her Dad.
