Preston Lamar Haskins

Preston Lamar Haskins, age 63 took his last breath on Friday, December 11, 2020 at home.

Preston was born on May 14,1957 in Taylor, Tx to Clem Johnson and Bobbi Haskins; adopted and raised by Maebelle Wells. He graduated from Taylor High School in 1975 and then served in the Navy for 4yrs before coming home to marry his high school sweetheart Reva Killingsworth.

Preston loved spending time with his family. Going to the movies, out to eat, and watching sports were just a few things he loved doing with his family. Anyone, who knew him knew that he spent a lot of time in the weight room. He felt that there weren't too many things with the body that a good consistent workout couldn't help.

One of the best things about Preston was his love for God and his family. He also had a genuine love for people in general as he often rooted for the underdog a lot and always encouraged people to believe that no matter what, with God, all things are possible.

Preston is preceded in death by his mothers, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39yrs , Reva Haskins, and children Tabitha Nicole, Stephen Lamar, and Timothy Preston Haskins; his Father Clem Johnson Sr. 5 sisters, 3 brothers and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
