Peggy Prinz, 80, of Leander passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 10, 2021. She was born to Erwin and Laura Prinz on August 21, 1940 at home in Georgetown, Texas.
Peggy was the proud matriarch of her large family. One of her biggest accomplishments was raising her daughter Brenda and being surrounded by all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She believed strongly in her Catholic faith and passing on traditions from holidays to all the little moments in between; all were equally important. She loved to cook and bake and poured love into every dish she made. She also loved gardening and to go shopping. Her big heart, kindness and love for her family and her dogs and cats will be greatly missed.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Erwin and Laura Prinz, her sister Corliss Prinz, her daughter Brenda Lee and her great niece Ashley Milhim. She is survived by her son-in-law Glen Lee, grandchildren Jeffrey Patschke, Mandy Bradford and her husband Chris, Kristina Hendrix, Derek Lee and Travis Lee. Great grandchildren Cheyenne, Makayla, Emily, Danica, Kaylynn, Lauren, Cody, Levi, Cameron, Bre, Mason, Oliver and great grandchildren Everleigh and Donivan. Along with 3 nieces, 2 nephews, 4 great nephews and
8 great nieces along with many cousins.
Pallbearers are Jeffrey Patschke, Derek Lee, Levi Grigsby, Cameron Grigsby, Devin Walsh
and Glen Lee. Honorary pallbearers are Travis Lee, Rodney Peterson, Mark Walsh and Joe Walsh.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 14th from 6-8 pm with the Rosary starting at
7:00 pm at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor.
Funeral services will be held on Friday,
January 15th at 11:00 am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hutto. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Georgetown. Her family wanted to thank her for a lifetime of love.
