Paul Dullen Tucker, 62, of Elgin, Texas passed away May 18, 2023 at his home surrounded by his wife and family.
Paul, also know as Len, was born in Cameron, Texas on July 10th 1960, to Lanette Phillips and Paul Tucker. He is the youngest of four; Andra, Gaylan, John and Paul being the youngest.
He was just two years old when his parents built their family’s forever home in Thorndale, Texas. He played football for the Bulldogs in middle school but mostly liked to wander around the tiny town leaving his mark and giving his mama a run for her money.
At the age of thirteen he started working with his brother, Gaylan, building houses. Which lead to more than forty-five years in the construction field. Thirty-three of those years were spent working for Neel White, at White Construction. Throughout his time with White, he had received many awards and accolades for his hard work, dedication, and accomplishments.
On May 5th 1978, Paul met the love of his life, Elizabeth Francine Westberry. After just eleven short months, they married April 28th, 1979. Together they have three daughters, Amanda Domel and twins, Carrie Huggins and Connie Anderson. Moving often around central Texas, Georgia, and back where they landed in Del Valle, Tx for a few years. Paul got his family interested in 4-H, showing swine and raising chickens, goats, and horses for awhile. Finally settling in Elgin, Texas for the last twenty-seven years. He and his wife raised their girls through high school. He even get to enjoy watching their grandchildren and great grandchildren play where their girls had.
Paul enjoyed fishing and hunting with his son in laws and grandkids, riding his motorcycles, playing in his Jeep, even picking up a grounded-grandchild for a Jeep/Snow day, and listening to all genres of music. He once purchased a dijurido but never quite mastered it.
He and Elizabeth have nine grandchildren Kyla Channing (husband Colbee), Emileigh Huggins, Wyatt Wilson, Everett Huggins, Aidan Domel, Zoe Reeves, and Carlie and Averie Anderson. They also have two great grandchildren Oaklynn and Kayson Channing. As well as son in laws Cliff Huggins, Brian Anderson, and Clay Domel.
