Patricia Smith

Patricia (Patty) Lynn Smith, beloved sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away on February 28th, 2022, at the age of 57.

She was born in Rockdale, Tx to Harold and Nadine Hollowell on October 28th, 1964. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was especially proud of her grandchildren. Patty enjoyed listening to music, especially the oldies and Southern Rock. She was a hard worker and was always willing to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. She had a beautiful soul and a kind spirit, and although she was small, she was not afraid to tell it like it is. She was strong in her faith and loved her God with her whole heart.

Patricia is survived by her daughters Rebecca L. Stogner of Thorndale, Melissa N. Boothe also of Thorndale. She leaves behind five grandchildren, Steven M. Stogner of Taylor, Timothy M. Stogner of Thorndale, Christopher D. Fogle of Fredericksburg, Lane A. Herzog of Franklin, and Kenzie M. Boothe of Thorndale. Sisters Debbie Biehle of Thorndale and Sandra Uher of Rockdale, brother Brandon Bartek of Academy, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family Melissa Nellis and children Megan and Michael, and her companion of five years Owen Boothe.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Stephen D. Smith, her parents Harold and Nadine Hollowell, brother Cecil G. Hollowell, son-in-law Tyrone McGill, mother-in-law Nell L. Poe, brother-in-law Barry Biehle, James David Smith, and close family friend Jessie Nellis.
