Patricia Ann Pemberton

Patricia (Pat) Ann Barron Kincl Pemberton of Taylor passed away on January 5, 2020 at the age of 75 in Round Rock, Texas. Her last years were fraught with dementia, but she had a beautiful life that her family will always remember.

Pat was born in Bryan, Texas on September 3, 1944, when her father, Horace T. Barron was abroad serving in World War II.  She was a cheerleader and graduated from Taylor High School.  After several moves, travelling around the world, and raising three children, she graduated from University of Houston Clear Lake in 1988. She taught at Channelview DeZavala Elementary and Channelview Middle School, retiring in 2008. She enjoyed teaching and being involved in her extended families’ lives. She was known for her delicious international cooking and being an avid reader and gardener both indoors and out.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Leila Barron and her husband, George Pemberton. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Carol Barron; her first husband and his wife, Louis James (Jim) Kincl, Jr and Marti McKenzie; her sons and their wives, James and Rhonda Kincl, and J. Kelly and Evelyn Kincl; her daughter and her husband, Laurel Kincl and Kevin Huck; her grandchildren, Kelly and Kimberly Kincl; her great-granddaughters, Mishka and Lexa Caraway; her nieces, Rebecca Hunt, Kelly Griffin Hague, Brittany Barron-Strickland; and several great nieces and nephews, cousins, step-children, step-grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas.
