Pascuala Gamez Almazan, 82, of Round Rock, Texas, passed away on September 4, 2017 in Round Rock. Visitation will be 6-8 PM, with Rosary recited at 7 PM on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of Life Mass will be at 10 AM on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.
Pascuala Gamez Almazan was born in Thrall, TX to Claudio and Concepcion (Garcia) Gamez on January 4, 1935. Pascuala married Ralph L. Almazan of Taylor, TX on February 12, 1961 in Taylor.
She was well known for her cooking especially her tamales. She loved needlework, dollmaking, quilting, playing bingo, and her dogs. She owned the Main Dolly Store in Taylor for many years. She made and sold her tamales at the Pick & Pack Stop with her husband also for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph L. Almazan, daughter, Mary Almazan, and grandson, Riley Seabolt.
She is survived by daughter, Adella Seabolt and husband, Edward of Georgetown, as well as a son, Joe Ralph Almazan of Austin. She leaves two grandchildren: Raina and Dylan Seabolt. She also leaves two brothers, Paul and Jesse Gamez and two sisters, Theodora Basulto and Eluteria Garcia. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
