Pamela Kay Walther

June 27, 1955 — September 25, 2022

Pamela K. Walther (Caffey), 67, of Manor, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family Sunday, September 25, 2022.

Pamela was born June 27, 1955 in Elgin Texas to Kenneth Harold Caffey and Dolly Denise Caffey (Varnes). She was married September 22, 1979 to Max William Walther, Jr. at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church by Rev. Larry Swidzinski.

Pamela was an outgoing and loving woman who enjoyed dancing, camping, good food, great friends, and most of all her family. She made anyone who visited her feel welcome and after the second visit, part of her extended family. She was "mom" to so many! She never seemed to meet a stranger, and quickly befriended everyone she met. Though short in stature, her personality made up for her height. As she said on many occasions, "dynamite comes in small packages!". She lived life with a lighthearted, good-humored, and joyful soul that could make anyone smile on the darkest of days. She was a survivor of breast-cancer, beating it into submission. She was a grandmother, mother, daughter, aunt, niece, and friend.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Harold Caffey and Dolly Denise Caffey (Varnes); and her brother, Richard Lee Caffey.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Max Walther, Jr.; three children, Max Walther III (Amy), Denise McRae (Daniel), Deanna Walther (Wes); five grandchildren, Hunter McRae, Garrett McRae, Finley Hayden, Haley Buccello, Patricia Brown; her two brothers, Randy and Allen Caffey; her sister, Patricia Caffey (Scott-Hood); along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, COPD Foundation, or your charity of choice.
