Pablo "Paul" Flores

Pablo “Paul” Flores, age 93, departed this life on October 21, 2021.  Paul was born February 25, 1928 to Pablo and Pabla Flores.

He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1946 and was honorably discharged in 1949. On September 7, 1953 he married Janie Garza and remained married for 41years until her passing on March 19, 1995.

Paul was a longtime businessman in Taylor. He was the owner of Pauls Body Shop, Taylor Towing and P&P Salvage Yard and has remained in business for 55 years. He was an automotive bodyman by trade and was well known in the area for his expert workmanship.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, wife, 3 sisters , infant daughter Mary Helen , daughter Janie Salazar and grandson Antonio Miguel Salazar.

He is survived by son Paul Flores III (Frances), daughters Helen Hernandez (Raymond), Gloria Morales (Scott), Stella Salazar (Robert) and Dolores Flores. In addition, Paul is survived by Grandchildren: Crystal Flores, April Flores (Jay Johnson), Andy Flores (fiance Kristen), Armando Salazar (Crystal),Angelica Mendez (Abraham), Christopher Hernandez (Jackie), Matthew Hernandez (Kim), Daniel Hernandez (fiance Nancy), Leah Morales, Lance Morales, Leslie Lopez, Robert Salazar, Jr.,Emilio Salazar, and David Carlos Salazar (Haley).  He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 1:00 pm, at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Taylor, Texas. Following the service, he was laid to rest at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery in Taylor.
