Nicole Sefra (Martinez) Beran, 49, of Taylor, Texas, went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 10, 2024. “I have fought the good and worthy noble fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
Nicole Sefra (Martinez) Beran was born on August 17, 1974 in Taylor, Texas, to Richard and Alifonsa (Pachicano) Martinez. She grew up with two younger sisters, Brandi and Kelly. She attended Taylor High School, where she met her high school sweetheart, Jason Beran. She married her high school sweetheart on January 16, 1999.
To this marriage came three children: Marisa Solis, Tobey Beran, and Miranda Beran. Nicole worked in the energy sector for over 20 years. Nicole and Jason loved to fish at the lake together. Nicole loved her family dearly. She enjoyed spending time together with her 2 grandchildren and spending time at the lake with her entire family. She loved laughing and playing jokes on all of us. She gave many of us our family nicknames. She had an infectious laugh and smile. Among her many gifts was hospitality; she made everyone feel valued and comfortable. She would cook many delicious meals for her family. You would often find Nicole and Jason cooking and barbecuing for many special events. She was her children’s and grandchildren’s biggest cheerleader. You could find her cheering them on in all their accomplishments. She always made the best of any situation. She made a positive impact on more lives than are countable. She was a volunteer at Meals on Wheels and a Missionette for Christ member. Her love for Jesus was inspiring and she loved to listen to worship music.
Nicole is preceded in death by her father in-law and mother in-law Bobby and Mildred Beran; grandparents, Jim and Janie Pachicano, Ralph Martinez; aunts, Christina Frias and Alice Tellez; uncles, Oscar Saucedo and Tommy Martinez; cousins, Nora Pachicano and Chad Faltesek.
Nicole is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jason Beran; children, Marisa (Mando) Solis, Tobey Beran, and Miranda Beran; 2 grandchildren Nate and Jeter Solis; sisters, Brandi (Sam) Solar and Kelly (Chasten) Richter; sisters in law, Amanda and Melanie Beran, and nieces and nephews – Ian, Ryan, Gabriel, Alyzah, Abigaile, Connor, Alyssa, Asher, Gavin and Isabell.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Providence Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
