Nelson Ray Granzin

Nelson Ray Granzin was born June 12, 1937 in Thorndale, Texas. He was called to the Lord on February 27, 2018 at the age of 80. He is survived by his loving children, Susan Lust and Rob and Suzanne Rice. His loving grandchildren, Olivia Lust and Katie and Brandon Stewart. His great grandchild, Carson Stewart.

His sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette and Wilbert Schneider of Elgin. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He was proceeded in death by his loving wife of 20 years, Helen Granzin, and his parents, Emil and Esther Granzin, Nelson was a veteran and retired from Featherlite Brick Company. During his lifetime, he enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes, and spending time with his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the St. John Lutheran Church of Thrall, Texas or a charity of your choice.

Services will be held on March 12, 2018 at 10am at St. John Lutheran Church in Thrall, Texas.
