Nancy Marie Hollowell

Nancy Marie Hollowell, 60 years old, suddenly passed away on November 20th, 2019 at her home in Thrall, TX.
Nancy was born in Taylor, TX on July 20th, 1959 to Edwin and Evelyn Leschber. She graduated from Thrall High School in 1978. On February 3rd, 1979, she married Michael Hollowell. They celebrated 40 years of marriage this year. Michael passed on June 24th, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. Nancy worked at Thrall ISD from 1993-2018. She dedicated 25 years to the school district. She loved working at the school and loved the Thrall community.
Nancy was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her fur babies. She was known for her love of cooking, shopping and watching movies. She did not hesitate to support a local fundraiser associated with the Thrall school district. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.
Nancy was survived by three daughters; Lindsey Pouncey and husband Eric of Burnet, Lauren Hollowell and boyfriend Matt Miller of Pinehurst, Megan Strmiska and husband Corey of Taylor. Four grandchildren; Macy Hollowell and Kayla Pouncey of Burnet, Memphis Sanders of Pinehurst and Kai Strmiska of Taylor. One sister; Doris Carter and husband Rick of Jarrell. Also, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Nancy is preceded in death by her husband and parents.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th, 2019 from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, TX. The Funeral Service will immediately follow the visitation at Providence Funeral Home.
