Moses P. Espinoza, 95 of Taylor, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 in Temple, TX. Moses was born September 4, 1922 to Pablo and Margarita Espinoza in Bastrop, TX.
Moses enlisted and was a World War II veteran, serving in the African Campaign from 1941-1945. He received several decorations while in combat.
He enjoyed many sports, but particularly playing baseball and fishing.
Mr. Espinoza is survived by one daughter, Ophelia E. Ochoa, her husband Mike, step-daughter Irma Gonzalez and two granddaughters, Selena E. Ochoa and Criselda Gonzalez all of Austin.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Minerva G. Espinoza, parents Pablo and Margarita Espinoza and brothers Sam, Ben and Fermina Espinoza; Frank, Douglas and Amalia Watson and grandson Miguel Orlando Ochoa.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 4:00 -7:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 5:00 P.M. at Providence Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 7, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at Cook Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas
