Modesta Lozano

Modesta Aleman Lozano passed away peacefully on August 30, 2019 in the town of Thorndale, Texas.  She was seventy years of age.  Lozano was born in Helena, Arkansas on June 15, 1949, to Jose and Guadalupe Aleman.

Lozano fell in love and eventually married Thomas Lozano Jr. on November 3, 1971, in Lamesa, Texas.  The marriage yielded wonderful children and a host of beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lozano is most known for her gift of gardening and her love and commitment to friends and family.

She is survived by her son; Thomas Lozano II (Amanda), mother, Guadalupe Sanchez Aleman, sisters, Ophelia Roman, Mary Aleman, Mona Sanchez, Anita Casarez, and Maria Quintanilla, brothers, Jose Aleman, Roy Aleman, Jimmy Aleman, Alex Aleman, grandchildren, Tommy Lee Lozano, Marc Anthony Lozano (Samantha), Christopher Andrew Lozano (Norma), Nicholas Ozzie Lozano, Mariah Marie Lozano, Adrian Blake Lozano, great-grandchildren,  Lariza Lozano, Jazmine Lozano, Ayden Lozano, Ava Lozano, Adam Lozano, Asher Lozano, Averi Lozano, Delilah Lozano.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lozano Jr., her father, Jose L. Aleman and her brother Juan Aleman.

Her visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Providence Funeral Home, Taylor, Texas.  Her funeral service will be held on Friday September 6 ^, 2019 at 10:00 am at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas.
