Mildred Rebecca Beran

May 1, 1955 — July 21, 2021

Mildred Rebecca Beran, 66, of Taylor, lost her battle with cancer and gained her angel wings on July 21, 2021.

Mildred was born on May 1, 1955, in Taylor, to loving parents John and Elsie (Zezulka) Faltesek. She was a 1974 graduate of Taylor High School. On June 8, 1974, she married the love of her life, Bobby Joe Beran. Their union blessed them with three children which was her greatest joy in life. Mildred was a woman of strong faith. She enjoyed reading her bible and devotionals and watching the Christian network. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking (she was known for her homemade bread), cleaning (she always had her home spotless) and spending time with her kids and grandkids. She loved her sons bbq and enjoyed her daughter cooking for her because of course she learned from the best. She had fun playing cards with her grandkids, always catching them cheating and she loved when her granddaughter read to her. She also enjoyed watching game shows with her daughter and granddaughter always saying she got everything right even when she didn’t. She enjoyed watching her grandsons play baseball and listening about their first jobs and school days. She admired her oldest granddaughter’s motherly instincts. She loved all her children and grandchildren so much and all of us know that we had the best mom and grandma in the world. She loved family gatherings with her family especially her mother and siblings. Her siblings were her best friends. She loved when they would come for the weekend and they’d sit in the kitchen reminiscing, cooking homemade fried chicken and drinking their Miller Lites with ice. Mildred was one of the jokesters of the family along with her sister, Mary. They loved wrapping gag gifts and putting them from different people. Their laughs were priceless. Everyone in the family knew you were going to have a great time with these two. Mildred loved cracking jokes and teasing her family. She also loved her nieces and nephews like her own children. Mildred had the most beautiful heart and all who knew her can agree to that. She fought many health issues through the years, but she was a fighter. She was so strong and always told everyone that she wasn’t worried about herself, she’s worried about her kids. Her daughter and two of her grandkids were currently living with her and will miss her presence, talks, love, sense of humor, quick wit and beating her at those game shows.

Mildred is preceded in death by both her parents, her husband, 3 brothers Anton, Johnny and George and 1 sister, Rosalie. She is survived by her son Jason Beran and wife, Nicole of Taylor, her daughters Amanda Beran of Taylor and Melanie Beran of Austin. She is also survived by her grandchildren Marisa Solis and husband Armando, Tobey Beran, Miranda Beran, Ian Botello and Alyzah Flores all of Taylor, as well as 2 great-grandchildren, Nathan and Jeter Solis of Taylor. She is also survived by her dear sisters Julie Borho and husband, Curtis of Leander and Mary Morgan of Rockdale. She is survived by many nieces and nephews that meant the world to her.

We will be lost without our dear mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend but we know she is no longer suffering and flying free with all the other angels, holding her husband’s hand once again.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 25 from 5pm-7pm at Providence Funeral Home. Funeral will be Monday, July 26 at 2pm at Providence Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Ripple officiating. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Ian Botello and Tobey Beran, nephews Josh Faltesek, Chase Pribbernow, and Colter Borho, and grandson-in-law Armando Solis. Honorary pallbearer will be family friend Indio Cervantes.
