Miguel H Zuniga Jr.

Miguel H. Zuniga Jr. (also known as Suniga), passed away on October 4th, 2023, in Taylor, Texas at the age of 71. Born on July 31st, 1952, in Leander, Texas, Miguel was the beloved son of Matilda and Mike Suniga Sr.

Above all, Miguel was a devout man of God, and his unwavering faith illuminated every aspect of his life. He had a deep love for visiting churches, finding solace and inspiration in spiritual teachings. Miguel believed wholeheartedly in the power of giving back and showed immense generosity to those around him. His favorite verses, Psalm 46 and Psalm 91:6, resonated deeply with him and guided his actions.

Miguel was a true jack-of-all-trades, showcasing his skills and expertise in landscaping, painting, and many other areas. He was a man of incredible talent and dedication, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. No task was too big or too small for Miguel; he would always find a way to get the job done.

Miguel was a loving husband to Anna Zuniga for 16 years.  He was also a father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Miguel is preceded in death by his father, Mike Suniga Sr.; His mother Matilda Suniga; His brother George Suniga; And his sister Cruz Najera.

Miguel is survived by his wife Anna Zuniga; his sister Bessie (Ysabel) Delgado; his sister-in-law Josephina Suniga; his sister Victoria (Rafael) Flores; his brother-in-law Brigido Najera; his 8 children Angelica Rodgers, Tarrie (Eric) Zientek, Francis Zuniga, Irene Zuniga; his step daughters Melissa (Jr) McDuffie, Alicia (Matthew) Synatzske; his step sons Adriane P. Pachicano, Marco A. Pachicano; and his 19 grandchildren.
