Mary Nell Saul

Mary Nell Saul, 85, passed away peacefully on the evening of Sunday, November 3, 2019 in her home in Hutto.

Mary was born April 1,1934 to Perry & Lucetta Townsend in Asher, Oklahoma. For much of her life, Mary was a homemaker, cared for her family, and enjoyed serving in the church. For a short time, she was employed at the Hutto Post Office. Mary was a faithful member of the Hwy 95 Church of Christ in Taylor for over 50 years.  She enjoyed reading, working in her garden, preserving the fruits of her labor, and caring for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mary loved her family and was always there for each one of them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Saul, Sr.; brother, Perry Townsend, Jr; sisters, Audry Jones and Nomah Hummer; daughter, Sherri Johnson; and granddaughter, Brianna Saul.

Mary is survived by sons, Jack Saul, Jr (Kimberly) of Hutto and Brad Saul (Denise) of Frankston; eight grandchildren, Melanie Leopold (Joe) of Port O’Connor, Darin Johnson (Dede) of Round Rock, Shana Rhoads (Jay) of Pflugerville, Brandy Woods (Brad) of Wimberley, Mabray Saul of Hutto, Madison McCorkle of Syracuse, New York, Brennan Saul of Tyler, and Brielle Wilks (Jordan) of Frankston; ten great grandchildren, Laurel D’Andrea (Nick), Jacob Leopold, Bryce Leopold, Addy Johnson, Elli Johnson, Cooper Johnson, Zoe Rhoads, Aiden Wilkinson, Logan Wilkinson, and Landry Woods; brother, Percy Townsend of Houston; sister, Carole Stafford of Shawnee, Oklahoma; and son-in-law, Bert Johnson of Hutto.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hutto City Cemetery.
