Mary Lois Miller was born to Louis Montgomery and Aria Sanders Montgomery on January 22, 1941, in Belfalls, Texas. She attended elementary at Lincoln School and then O.L. Price High School in Taylor, Texas.
At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior, was baptized in a creek on a local farm, and became a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Thrall, Texas.
Mary Lois Miller birthed a total of six beautiful children – two protective boys and four lovely girls.
During her career, she worked as a skilled seamstress at the sewing factory in Granger, Texas and surrounding areas. She also was a healthcare professional in Taylor, Texas.
Mary Miller had an outgoing personality and was the life of the party. She had an infectious laugh and did not hold back on telling you about yourself.
She was preceded in death by her parents Louis Montgomery and Aria Sanders Montgomery; five brothers: Charles (Sunny) Montgomery, Sidney Montgomery, Louis (Bubba) Montgomery, J.W. (Blue) Montgomery, Howard Montgomery; and two sisters Beatrice Roberson, and Pearline Williams.
She leaves those to cherish her memory her daughter, Anna Reese (late Rev. Lee L. Reese) of Granger, Texas; Jacqueline Edwards (Michael) of Houston, Texas; Clifton Montgomery (Betty) of Odessa, Texas; Russell Montegomery (Angela Epsy) of Hutto, Texas, Mina Miller (Johnny Cooper) of Cedar Hill, Texas and Elaine Toliver (Sha’mon) of Elgin, Texas; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
