Mary Helen Carmona

Mary Helen Carmona, 80, of Taylor passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.

Mary Helen Carmona was born in Taylor on September 23, 1942 to Domingo and Mary De La Rosa. She grew up with one brother and three sisters. She was married to Preciliano Carmona Jr and had two sons, James and Peter.

Her hobbies and interests included family, baking, dancing, sewing and reading. She was very involved with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and focused on being an active part of their lives.

Mary Helen is preceded in death by her parents and son Peter.

Mary Helen a loving mother, mother in law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt is survived by her son James and wife Dawana; three grandchildren Kirsten Carmona,  Miacayla Carmona and Ty Carmona , three great-grandchildren Zerek, Mason and Grayson, brother Raymond De La Rosa,  sisters Amelia Castro, Carmen Juarez and Susie Gutierrez ; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday March 22, 2023 at Providence Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am March 23, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.  Burial will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.
