Marvin Willie Koehler

Marvin W. Koehler of Taylor TX passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on September 12, 2018, with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Glenda Koehler; his three children Jerry Koehler of Taylor, Carolyn Chapman and her husband Brian Chapman of Hutto, and Debra Koehler of Taylor, brother, Avery Koehler of Cedar Creek, six grandchildren, Justin Koehler of Taylor, Chelsea Henry and her husband Craig Henry of Thrall, Ryan and Aaron Reyes of Hutto, Chris Chapman of Galveston and Logan Gomez of Taylor, 2 great grandchildren, Zane and Zaelyn Henry of Thrall.

Marvin was born July 8, 1932 in Thorndale Texas to Willie and Selma Koehler. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War.  On April 14, 1971, he married the love of his life, Glenda Sue York of Russell Springs KY.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at Providence Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 10 AM at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
