Marlene Wallace Morris

Marlene Morris passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the age of 80.

She was born on May 26, 1941 in Charlotte, NC. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday Sept. 2, 2021 at 7pm at First Baptist Church, 2500 Mallard Lane, Taylor, TX.

She is survived by her three children. Kathy Green and husband Troy of Taylor, Tx. Nick Morris and his wife Lisa of Taylor, Tx and Michael Morris of Lexington, TX. Her 7 grandchildren Samantha, TJ, Allison, Chris, Erik, Mike and Stephanie. And her 10 great grandchildren Lindy Mae, Junior, Alicia, Easton, Zarriah, Damien, Lilly, Summer, Autumn and Luna. Also her friend Jeannette who Marlene considered a daughter.
Marlene loved her job working in the cafeteria in the Taylor School District. Her favorite past times were going fishing at the coast, going to bingo and to the Winstar Casino. Her greatest love and treasure was her family.

Life is a book in volumes three-
The past, the present, and the yet-to-be
The past is written and laid away
The present we’re writing every day
And the last and best of volumes three
Is locked from sight – God keeps the key.
