Mark J. Denero

Mark Joseph DeNero, 65, of Thorndale passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019, surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness.

Mark was born in Mansfield, Ohio on July 31, 1954 to Douglas A. DeNero and Elsie B. Rameriz DeNero. He graduated from Madison High School in 1972 and then left Ohio for Florida, to work in construction. He found his way to Texas and met his wife, Tina in 1981. They married May 26, 1984 in Alvin, Texas. They have six children and sixteen grandchildren. Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, and grilling, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his friends, family, and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Elsie B. Rameriz DeNero; father, Douglas A. DeNero; step mother, Patricia Yirga DeNero; and brothers, Douglas J. DeNero and Michael F. DeNero.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Tina (White) DeNero of Thorndale; sons, Michael White and wife Cheryl and Nathan White, of Alvin; daughters, Maria DeNero of College Station, Ashley Lutz and husband Levi of Lindale, Texas, Brandy DeNero Cain and husband Tiger of Rockdale, and Leah DeNero, of Thorndale; sister in law Anne DeNero of Galion, Ohio; brother, Steve McGlone and wife Chrissy; Dino DeNero and wife Valerie of Mansfield, Ohio; sister, Lynn DeNero Hayes of Shelby, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mark’s family will hold a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 1pm to 3pm at San Gabriel Envangelic Christian Church, 3857 North FM 487, Thorndale, TX 76577.
