Maria Morin

Maria Morin also known as Mary,72, left to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 30, 2019 after struggling with several illnesses.

Maria Gonzales was born on March 8, 1947 in Taylor Texas to Sisto Gonzales and Juanita Diaz. Mary worked many jobs throughout her years but settled as a cook at what was John's Community Hospital.

Mary met and married the love of her life, Joe Morin on April 13 1968.  Together they had 3 daughters, Diana Morin, Patricia Morin and Jo Ann Morin all of Taylor, Texas. They also have one granddaughter, Nicole Anguiano of Jo Ann Morin and Manuel Anguiano Jr.  Mary is also survived by her 2 brothers and two sisters, Manuel Gonzales and Antonio "Tony" Gonzales, Gloria Tamez and Vangie Magana along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was proceeded in death by her husband, Joe Morin on July 29, 1990.

Mary loved listening to music, watching soap operas, needle pointing, working on word search puzzles, and spoiling her granddaughter.

Visitation will be held at Providence Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 5 pm to 7 pm with the Rosary beginning at 7 pm.  Funeral services will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 10 am.

Pallbearers are nephews, Gabriel Gonzales, Daniel Gonzales, Sisto Gonzales, Joe Magana, Nicholas Gonzales and Arthur Tamez.
