Margaret Ann Espinoza Alvarez, of Taylor, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 10th, 2019 at the age of 76 peacefully in her home.
Margaret was born to Samuel and Clemencia Espinoza on January 29th, 1943 in Taylor, TX. She grew up as the only daughter in a house filled with five brothers and attended Saint Mary’s High School. In 1990, she met the love of her life, Urvano Perez, and lived out her years with him. She recently retired from Baylor Scott and White Hospital after over 20 years of service. She loved her coworkers and was overwhelmed by the love, support and generosity they showed her. She enjoyed playing her lotto numbers and scratch offs. She also loved the most being around her family and making sure everyone was fed. They most loved her homemade enchiladas. You would never see her without her hair and nails done. She always walked with grace and dignity and was known for her unique humor.
She is survived by her daughters, Arlene Alderete, Melissa Martinez, and Linda Mendoza; sons, Christopher Trevino and Victor Perez; fourteen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Providence Funeral Home on Friday July 12, 2019 at 6:00pm and rosary to begin at 7:00pm. A memorial mass will take place at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylor on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 1:00pm.
Margaret’s family wishes to thank Freedom Center Christian Church, Irene Guerrero, Tina Salazar and the Cima Organization for their love and support during this difficult time.
