Manuel Moreno Jr., 62, of Taylor, TX, passed away on January 24, 2025. Born on October 12, 1962, in Slaton, TX, to Paula and Manuel Moreno, Manuel was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Manuel is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Ramona Moreno, and their four children: Jessica and Manuel Ramirez, Cathie and Florencio Lino, Sonny Moreno, and Valentine and Tim Sandoval. He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Sylvester, Trinity, Alyssia, Reanne, Valerie, and Jaylynn, and a cherished great-grandfather to Jeremiah. Manuel’s love extended to his ten siblings: Daniel and Lori, Maria Moreno, Domingo and Esther, Paul and Bonnie, Jesse, Rosie, Hopie and Mark Diaz, Lucinda Moreno, Joanna and Juan Lopez, and Junior, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who held him dear.
For 48 years, Manuel dedicated himself to his craft as a glazer, earning respect for his hard work and expertise. Outside of work, he found joy in riding his motorcycles, hosting family gatherings, and creating unforgettable barbecues that brought loved ones together. Known for his warm handshake, infectious smile, and unwavering generosity, Manuel was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
