Manuel C. Moreno

Manuel C. Moreno passed away on January 6, 2019 at the age of 77 at the S.P.J.S.T. Nursing Home.  He was born in Goldwaite, Texas on October 15, 1941 to his parents, Ignacio and Alejandra Moreno.

Manuel is married to Esther Moreno.  Manuel was a farmer all his life.

He is survived by sons, Daniel Moreno (Lori), Manuel Moreno (Ramona), Domingo Moreno (Esther), Jesus Moreno, Paul Moreno, and Manuel Jr., daughters, Maria Moreno (Ruben). Rosario Moreno (Thomas), Esperanza Diaz (Mark), Lucinda Herrera (Juan), Joanna Moreno (Juan), brothers, Joe Moreno (Janie), Leon Moreno (Rosa), sisters, Rosie Perez, Anita Moreno, Racheal Deleon (George), Cruz Rocha and Maria Diaz,34 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Paula Moreno, parents Ignacio and Alejandra Moreno, brothers, Lucio Moreno, Bennie Moreno.

Pallbearers are his grandchildren, Daniel Moreno, Eric Moreno, Aaron Moreno, Edgar Torres, Jr., Keith Medina, Joel Diaz, Jose Lopez, Axel Moreno.  Honorary pallbearers are granddaughter, Kimberly Moreno and great-granddaughter Cecilia Moreno.

The Moreno family would like to thank everyone at the S.P.J.S.T. Nursing Home for the care they gave to our Dad, especially Virginia, Cassi, Josefina, nurses, Angela, Kelly, Nikki, and Resolution Hospice.  Special thanks to everyone at Davita Taylor for the wonderful care they gave to our Dad.
