Manuel Flores Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully in his home on November 22, 2024, surrounded by the family he cherished so deeply.

Born on February 24, 1964, in Muldoon, TX, Manuel was the son of Manuel and Ricarda Flores. Growing up with three sisters Consuelo Godinez, Rosa Flores and Dominga Ramirez, and two brothers Joe Flores and Felis Flores, his childhood was filled with love, laughter, and the bonds of a close-knit family. From an early age, he showed a talent for working with his hands and became a man of many trades, with a particular passion for working on cars.

In 1982, Manuel met Corina Hernandez. They shared 15 beautiful years together and welcomed 3 beautiful daughters, Alicia Neal, Sandy Cruz and Veronica Flores, and 1 son Manuel Jose Flores, who he reunites with in heaven. Beginning his journey as a devoted father, His love for family only grew over the years, and in 1997, he met the love of his life, MaryAnn Luna. The two shared an unbreakable bond and were happily married in 2000, blending their lives and adding two more daughters Angela and Joanne and two sons Oscar and Ralph to their family.

Manuel and MaryAnn built a quaint and joyful life together in Taylor, TX, where they were surrounded by friends, family, and love. Manuel was known for his kind and giving heart. He had an unmatched willingness to help anyone in need, often going above and beyond, even giving all he had to lift others up. His genuine smile and ready spirit brought light into the lives of everyone he met.

Manuel’s life was one of love, resilience, and joy. Whether dancing with a smile on his face, fixing a car in his workshop, or spending time with his family, he embodied kindness and selflessness. He leaves behind a legacy of generosity, compassion, and the enduring power of love.

Manuel will be deeply missed by his loving wife, MaryAnn, his children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. While he may no longer be with us in person, his memory will forever shine in our hearts.

Rest in peace, Manuel. You have left an indelible mark on this world, and your light will continue to guide us.
