Lynn Talley Urbis, 46, of Taylor passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at St. David’s Georgetown Hospital.
Lynn Talley Urbis was born July 24,1975 in Taylor to Lawrence and Connie Talley Urbis. He grew up with his two older brothers Mark and Chad, a younger sister Rhea and a younger brother AJ. Lynn graduated from Taylor High School in 1993 and attended Blinn College.
Lynn had a passion for carpentry and enjoyed building projects, remodeling, and wood working. He was very talented with his hands and many people have been able to enjoy his creations. Lynn enjoyed being outside working in the yard, hunting, and fishing, riding his paleta bike, but most of all he loved spending time with his kids.
Lynn faced struggles over the years, but those battles did not define him. We ask that you remember him for the love and joy he brought to all of us. He was known for his infectious smile that radiated throughout his entire face when he walked into a room, those big hugs, and his laughter. Our broken hearts will continue to mourn our loss and feel the emptiness his absence has created.
Lynn is preceded in death by his brother Mark Lynn Urbis, grandparents Frank W. Urbis Jr., Fred and Dorothy Switzer, Edwin and Doris Talley, John and Lillye Murray and Joyce Ann Scruggs.
Lynn is survived by his parents Lawrence and Connie Urbis of Taylor, brother Chad Urbis and daughter Camryn of Taylor, Sister Rhea Hernandez and husband Trenton and children Sydni and Slade of Jarrell, brother AJ Devlin of Pflugerville, Ashleigh Page and children Tye and Talley Urbis of Taylor, daughters Libby and Avery Urbis of Thorndale, Lexi McKale of Taylor and Bree Talley of Mont Belvieu.
