Lucille Winston

Lucille Griffin-Harvey Winston, age 79 of Taylor passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018.

Lucille Winston was born on January 28, 1939 in Smithville, TX to Milton and Betty Mae Griffin.  She was a lifetime club owner in Taylor (Soulful Club).  She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Gonzales, parents Milton and Betty Mae Griffin, brother Roy Griffin, and three sisters Arzella Frederick Pullins, Betty Jackson, and Maezola Brown.  She leaves to cherish two sons Stanley and Harold (Cootie) Harvey both of Taylor.  Two grandchildren Candice Williams and Natasha Woodson of Austin, TX.  Five great grandchildren, Nakevia Harrell, Chanel Tucker, Xavier Mackey, Laniah Anderson, and Izaiah Cross-Sorrells.  Leave behind one sister Tommie C. Johnson (Ruben) of Taylor, TX.  One special daughter, Deatrice Gipson and Delaina.

Celebration of life service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Providence Funeral Home with burial to follow Taylor City Cemetery.
