Lorraine Flint, 91, of Taylor, TX, passed away on October 3rd after battling a severe stroke.
Lorraine was born on July 14th, 1929 to Richard and Enga Ellingson in Cransfills Gap, TX.
She went to Clifton Lutheran College where in 1947, she met James Lee Flint. They wed in 1947, having three children, Karen, Glen and Ross.
Lorraine and James Flint bought and ran the Clifton Motel until later selling it and moving to Taylor, TX in 1958. They later opened a chain of Laundromats that started here in Taylor, TX at the corner of 5 th and Vance.
After retiring, Lorraine helped her son Ross run his new venture Video Station Superstore from 1983 until now. She very much enjoyed helping customers and was very passionate about helping in the store.
Lorraine is predeceased by her husband, parents and brother, Belford.
She is survived by her children Karen Clark, Glen Flint, wife Carolyn and Ross Flint. Grandchildren Laura Clark Boyett, husband Shane, Greg Clark, wife Holly, Lisa Flint White, husband Jason and Travis Flint, wife Dana. Great Grandchildren Seth and Cortney Rutter, Lauren, Lindsey and Justin White, Madison, Penny and Sam Clark .
