Lizzie Marie Cooper

Lizzie Marie Cooper, 79, of Taylor passed away Wednesday, May 22nd, 2019.

Lizzie was born to Claude Gilbert and Ethel Lee Jones on March 20th, 1940 in Austin, Texas. She was a loving sister and a faithful, dedicated member as well as the Mother of the True Church Of Christ.  She truly led by example.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Kelly Cooper; son, Claude Cooper; sister, Orangree M. Hall; and five brothers, Richard Brown, Wendell B. Jones Sr., Elmo Brown Jr., Ollie R. Jones, and Baby Jones.

She is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Ray of Austin, Claudee Benton of the home, and Essie Lee Bass of the home; sister in-law, Patricia Jones of Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 1st, 2019 at Providence Funeral Home.
